Pruning:
- Streets pruned in the last two weeks, Ionio, Hernando, Garibaldi, Novara, Rozzini, Emilia, Firenze, Karina, Benelli, and Juila.
- Current pruning consists of more attention to detail with precision cuts that allow more control by minimizing damage to the plant. Using Gas Power Shears this time of year can cause damage, with increased risks of disease. This practice will continue through the end of February.
- March we will begin plant cut backs by reducing overgrown branches. This will improve air circulation, size control, and most importantly encourage new growth. This practice will be on select species, with more information to follow in future reports.
